So, what’s the role all about?

As a GDC Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic, bright, and customer-facing team focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions for our organization. You will leverage your expertise in AWS and Azure to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments. This role involves close collaboration with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-performance infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.

How will you make an impact?

• Designing cloud engineer solutions in AWS and Azure that meet business and technical requirements for scalability, security, and performance.
• Leading cloud migration and modernization efforts, ensuring seamless integration of new cloud services with existing cloud infrastructure.
• Implementing and managing cloud governance and security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to DevOps teams, helping to establish cloud operational practices, monitoring, and incident management.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into cloud solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
• Staying up to date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously improve the cloud architecture.
  
  

Have you got what it takes?

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, public cloud environments, and IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience with AWS (must), and Azure, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes – nice to have.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  
  

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• AWS or Azure cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with serverless computing, microservices architecture, and API management
