Automation Engineer

A Fintech startup, established this year in partnership with one of the largest banks in the country, with funding of 50 million ILS, is on a mission to rebuild outdated banking systems into innovative, cloud-based platforms (not migrations).

Located in Tel Aviv, the company operates a hybrid model with two work-from-home days per week. It currently has 40 employees and is experiencing significant growth.

Role Overview:

• Management of a team of 6 QA engineers (manual and automation).
• Reporting to the Head of Product.
• Hands-on involvement in 50% of the tasks.
• Working with technologies such as TypeScript and Python.

Requirements:

• 2 years' experience as an Automation Team Lead
• 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on automation testing
• Strong knowledge of programming languages: Typescript, Python
• Experience with automation testing tools, frameworks, and libraries.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
