Financial Controller

The Controller will oversee the organization’s financial operations, including

accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role requires strong

leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to financial accuracy and integrity.

The Controller will play a key role in managing the company’s financial performance

and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Be Accountable for:

• Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance of all departments with internal processes.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the CFO once a month.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts
• receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data entry and record-keeping.
• Make sure the data on the CRM system is updated as in the bookkeeping system.
• Internal Controls and processes:
• Develop and enforce internal processes to ensure compliance with the budget and
• workflows.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures and controls.
• Coordinate and oversee annual audits and tax preparation.
• Collaborate with the CFO to develop long-term financial strategies.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for operational
• improvements and cost reductions.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and processes to enhance operational
• efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve financial reporting
• capabilities.

The Right Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as accountant or controller/assistant controller.
• Experience with consolidated reports.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and independence skills
• Attention to detail, high accuracy, quick learner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with other departments.
• A strong technological orientation and a high work ethic are required.

Working hours:

• Hybrid position that requires 2 days a week from the office in afternoon-night hours and 1 day morning-noon hours, the rest of the week is from home
