R&D Manager

we are seeking for a small Start up in the Cybersecurity domain a seasoned, hands-on Senior Full Stack R&D Manager with a proven ability to manage and inspire teams, foster a collaborative environment, and drive innovation. 

The ideal candidate combines technical excellence with exceptional leadership qualities, including strong communication, a charismatic presence, and a talent for motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals while cultivating a culture of trust and growth.

 The role encompasses full product lifecycle management, including planning, decomposing development plans into actionable sprints and tasks and managing the day-to-day activities of the development and QA teams.

Responsibilities

- Spearhead the full lifecycle of product development: planning, architecture, & implementation.

- Lead the development and QA teams, ensuring product design, development, and production entry.

- Manage UI/UX design planning and delegate development tasks.

- Ensure the upkeep of development labs and their availability.

-Be accountable for customers issues and maintenance, including product updates and bug fixes.

- Directly engage in a hands-on development work alongside the team.

Location: 2 days a week at the office ( Center of Israel) and 3 days from home.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of development experience – mandatory.

- At least 3 years of team management experience – mandatory.

- Proficient in .Net core and React – mandatory.

- Demonstrated experience in PowerShell – mandatory.

- Knowledgeable in On-prem product development for Windows/Linux applications.

- Deep understanding of Postgres, RabbitMQ, Advanced installer.

- BSc in Computer Science – an advantage. 

- Previous IT and Cyber Security engineering experience.

- Proven DevOps Pipeline CI/CD and Automation capabilities.

- Advantage: Experience with VMware and Storage solutions (Especially NetApp), Active Directory, Networking.

- Advantage: Knowledge in cybersecurity development and cloud.
