Threat Intelligence Analyst - Japanese speaker

At the core of our Cyber Intelligence Center, KELA’s Threat Intelligence Analysts are in charge of analysis stemming from the use of a unique automated technology scanning a curated set of Dark Web sources and open sources. You will conduct research both independently and with a larger team in order to detect cyber-security threats and produce analytical products.

The successful candidate possesses an intelligence background, as well as knowledge in cyber-security and has excellent oral and written communication skills. As a Japanese-speaker, you will be part of a larger team providing intelligence support to Japanese clients.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting, analyzing, cross-referencing and interpreting data from multiple sources.
• Documenting the results and providing meaningful analysis products.
• Producing actionable intelligence reports for delivery to various types of audiences.
• Conducting Open-Source, Deep and Dark Web research.
• Investigating relevant intelligence sources, threat actors, attack tools and techniques.
• Providing intelligence support to clients.

Must have:

• Japanese as mother tongue or JLPT N1 level.
• Experience in Japanese business correspondence.
• Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conducting research and writing reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent attention to details and ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision.
• Operate semi-autonomously to conduct collection, create solutions and support intelligence production.
• Active interest and creative thinking in cyber security (Advantages).
