Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager

A leading B2B software company in the field of messaging is looking for a Head of Web Application QA Engineering Team

The role involves:

• Managing a team of 3 QA engineers.
• Responsibility for the company's testing methodologies, establishing a set of automated testing tools, replacing manual QA tools with automated tools where possible;
• Characterizing test scenarios and performing HO tests, documenting findings, mapping failures and deficiencies if they arise during testing;
• Taking part in the planning and characterizing the Platform capabilities in relation to testing needs, working closely with the development and product team;
• Locating, recovering and in-depth investigating of ongoing faults.
• In-depth familiarity with the Platform (after an apprenticeship period), both in terms of the architecture and backend levels, through the API interfaces and ending with UI and usability.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Computer Science or another related technological field.
• 8+ years of experience in QA.
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies and processes, web architecture, and cloud testing tools.
• Managerial experience
• Mastery of JavaScript - an advantage
• Familiarity with HTML and other web technologies - an advantage
• Experience working on web-client products - an advantage
• Experience working with Selenium / Python / Katalon Studio / Cypress.io / Node.js / Pandas / Spark - an advantage
• Experience working with SQL and databases - an advantage

As well:

• Understanding of system architecture
• Attention to detail, high analytical ability and troubleshooting skills
• Motivation and a lot of internal drive, a Hands On approach is required for the role
• Self-learning ability
• Great interpersonal skills

The company is located in West Rishon LeZiyon.

The job requires attending the offices 4 days a week.
