Network Engineer

A leading provider of advanced storage solutions for enterprises, the company is headquartered in Herzliya and operates on a hybrid work model with two days per week from home.

Role Responsibilities:

• Network Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, and manage the network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Security Implementation: Deploy and monitor network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and additional tools to protect against unauthorized access and potential threats.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal network performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Deep understanding of networks and hands-on experience in large scale environments.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus (preferably 9000 series) and Fabric Extenders technology.
• Understanding of Leaf-Spine topology and VXLAN - a MUST.
• Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with cloud networking (mainly AWS) - an Advantage.
• Certifications such as CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft and Linux networking.
• Attention to details and excellent documentation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
