Senior Vice President of R&D - Robotic Systems

An exciting start-up, following a significant fundraising round, is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of R&D to lead the development of a cutting-edge robotic multidisciplinary system. 

You will manage a multi-disciplinary directors of Physics, Mechanics, Electronics and Software and Architecture/System. 

You will Oversee all aspects of research and development for the company's robotic systems

Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams across various technical domains

Drive innovation and technological advancement in robotics and related fields

Collaborate with other executives to align R&D efforts with business objectives with actual industrial clients. 

You will manage budgets, resources, and timelines for multiple concurrent projects

Implement *best practices* for quality control and continuous improvement and delivery

Requirements

MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field (mandatory)

MBA / Executive is a plus. 

15 years of experience in managing research and development of multidisciplinary large groups. 

Proven track record in developing complex products such as robotics, multidisciplinary devices, lasers, deep tech, defense tech, or space technology and so on. 

Experience in leading teams through full product development lifecycle

Excellent communication and leadership skills!

Strategic thinking and ability to translate technical concepts into business value

Track record of successful product launches in relevant industries

Experience with agile development methodologies

Publications or patents in relevant fields – is a plus
