Data Engineer

A successful Cybersecurity company is developing a platform that automatically closes security gaps in organizational networks. The company provides a network security solution that detects and corrects configuration errors that jeopardize connected devices, offering automated configuration assurance and one-click repair to maintain peace of mind.

The company has over 100 paying customers, including notable clients like. It is profitable and has never raised external funding.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, with a highly flexible hybrid work model.

The role is for a Data Engineer, the first in the company, working with Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Requirements-

• 5+ years' experience developing scalable backend code in high level languages (and Python)
• SQL fluency
• Experience decrypting ORM generated and optimizing SQL queries
• Experience writing migrations in raw SQL
• Familiarity with the data engineering tech stack: ETL and ELT tools
• Experience working with/in cloud environments
• Comfortable owning projects from end-to-end — taking initiatives from idea to production
• Prior hands-on experience building large-scale data pipelines
• Experience working with containers and Kubernetes
