We are looking for an experienced Application Security Consultant to join our team and help safeguard our clients' applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct security assessments for applications, including penetration testing and code reviews. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC. Design and implement secure development guidelines and standards.

Research and stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.

Provide training and workshops on secure development and application security.

Requirements:

Proven experience in application security (AppSec) or related fields. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and SANS CWE. Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing code in languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or JavaScript. Familiarity with application security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, SAST, DAST tools). Knowledge of cloud environments and their associated security considerations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as OSWE, OSEE, CSSLP, or CISSP.

Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD security.

Knowledge of mobile application security testing.
