Job Description
As a Product Marketing Manager at Ovalix, you will lead our go-to-market strategy and shape audience perception of our product suite. You'll work closely with product development, marketing, sales, customers, and partners to craft compelling product messaging, positioning, and marketing content, empowering sales efforts to thrive.
- Become the authority on our market category and buyer personas, understanding their purchasing decisions and key buying criteria
- Develop and manage essential product and sales materials, including sales decks, tech briefs, demo videos, webinars, and product web pages
- Map the competitive landscape to become an expert on our competitors and their positioning. Educate internal teams and develop supporting materials
- Perform market research to grasp current market trends and leverage these insights to promote our product effectively
- Lead the communication for new product releases and launches
- Build customer testimonials and product reviews
- Support demand generation campaigns, including paid campaigns, content initiatives, and events, while also contributing to customer acquisition and retention efforts through nurturing content and product collateral
- Train sales and channels on solving buyer problems, and create product marketing collateral to guide their use
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, within cybersecurity (B2B), with emphasis on the North American market
- Extensive experience in creating various types of content, including whitepapers, infographics, web copy, LinkedIn posts, and blog posts
- Proven track record of successful product launches/major releases
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling messaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills - proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, spanning product development, research, sales, and partners
- Experience in conducting training, webinars, and participating in tradeshows and events
- Keenly aware of market trends, customer needs, and perceptions, with a deep understanding of buyer personas, decision-making processes, and sales cycles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Native English proficiency
