Procurement Specialist

The role requires technical and engineering knowledge, as well as the ability to lead procurement and sourcing processes in international markets and translate technical requirements into procurement needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing sourcing and procurement processes for technical and engineering equipment from international suppliers.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and translating them into procurement requirements.
• Collaborating with international suppliers.
• Identifying and developing new markets and suppliers globally.
• Working closely with cross-organizational interfaces, including operations and planning, to fulfill technical requirements.

Education: Engineer or practical engineer in mechanical or a related technical field.

Proven experience in technical procurement and conducting negotiations with suppliers domestically and internationally.

Strong advantage: Familiarity with the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Experience in managing international sourcing processes.

Very high proficiency in English.

Independent working capabilities, a strong willingness to learn, excellent negotiation skills, assertiveness, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of service orientation, and adaptability to change.

Previous experience in a similar role within industrial/engineering project environments.

Additional languages: Significant advantage.

Knowledge of Priority ERP system.
