Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and simulating next generation network protocols for the cloud and data centers.

• Mentoring junior network simulation engineers

• Hands-on software development and a strong background in software engineering and packet switching networks.

Requirements:

• Experience of 3+ years in C++ and Python

• Knowledge of packet switching networks: switches, routers, protocols, topologies

• Deep knowledge of Linux

• Experience with software development tools and practices: source control (git), issue tracking (Jira), code review, debugging, regression testing

Advantages:

• Knowledge of ns-3 or another network simulator (e.g. ns-2, OPNET, OMNET++)

• Knowledge of gem5 or another computer-system simulator

• Knowledge of RDMA (iWARP, RoCE), InfiniBand

• Bachelor degree, or higher, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
