Proteomics (Olink-based) Lead

We are seeking an innovative and driven Project Lead to spearhead the development of a cutting-edge proteomics workflow using Olink’s Explore technology. Join our state-of-the-art lab, specializing in high-throughput multi-omics analysis, where we operate automated workflows for metagenomics sequencing and RNA-seq on industry-leading platforms and are currently building a new proteomics analysis pipeline.

About the Role

As the Project Lead, you will:

• Design, establish, and optimize a high-throughput proteomics workflow based on Olink Explore technology.
• Integrate and automate liquid handling processes for seamless scalability.
• Leverage Illumina NGS platforms for downstream data acquisition and analysis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of bioinformaticians, engineers, and researchers to ensure data quality and workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and improve system performance, ensuring the highest standards of reproducibility and reliability.
• Interact with customers on projects design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge automation strategies for liquid handling systems.
• Establish protocols for NGS library preparation and processing specific to Olink Explore assays.
• Manage and maintain high-throughput workflows.
• Train and supervise junior staff as the workflow scales.
• Deliver comprehensive project documentation, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards.

What We’re Looking For

• PhD or MSc in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Strong experience with automation platforms for liquid handling (e.g., Tecan, Dragonfly, FAST, Hamilton).
• Hands-on expertise in high-throughput workflows for genomics or proteomics, including experience with Illumina NGS platforms.
• Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex workflows.
• A collaborative mindset and an enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology.
