Field Service Engineer (FSE)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a dynamic team and provide technical support and maintenance for advanced systems used in production, supplier, and R&D environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while supporting global operations and driving system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support & Maintenance:
• Deliver remote technical support (via email, phone, remote access) for testing and calibration systems worldwide.
• Perform hands-on service activities, including installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Implement and lead preventive maintenance strategies.
• Train and qualify internal and external users of the systems.
• Life Cycle Management:
• Manage the life cycle of testing and calibration systems, including upgrades, improvements, and end-of-life transitions.
• Lead Proof of Design (POD) activities for hardware, software, and process updates.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, production challenges, and customer complaints related to testers.
• Engineering Solutions & Projects:
• Develop and enhance test equipment, jigs, tools, and processes.
• Ensure accurate and updated documentation for all processes.
• Drive Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) to enhance system efficiency, product quality, and data management.
• Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve usability and functionality.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Exact Sciences, or a Practical Engineer with relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of multidisciplinary experience in:
• Engineering
• New Product Introduction (NPI)
• R&D
• Project Management
• Service
• Manufacturing and Supply Chain
• Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical and debugging capabilities.
• Basic software knowledge and manufacturing support experience.
• Analytical and proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent, motivated, and service-oriented.
