A talented Mechanical buyer is needed to execute purchasing for various components and services according to the company's needs, manage and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, identify and locate new vendors, initiate cost reduction strategies, monitor vendor performance, and perform daily tasks such as follow-ups, report preparation, and data updates in purchasing systems.
Execute purchasing for various components and services according to the company's needs.
Manage and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, including monitoring quality and service.
Identify and locate new vendors to expand the supplier base.
Initiate cost reduction strategies and improve trading conditions.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to required standards.
Perform daily tasks such as follow-ups, report preparation, and data updates in purchasing systems.
- In-depth knowledge of cable assembly (advantage).
- Electro-mechanical background with practical experience (advantage).
- Deep understanding of cable manufacturing processes in assembly plants.
- Previous experience with manufacturing subcontractor companies (advantage).
- Experience as a planner in manufacturing companies (advantage).
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Capacity to adapt to a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (Priority is an advantage).
- Fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing.
- High-level Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good logistics skills.
