We’re looking for a Head of Design to drive our user experience (UX) and manage a team of skilled UI/UX experts.

Role overview

As Head of Design at Salt Security, you’ll define and own our UX strategy, solving complex problems and delivering seamless user experiences. Lead and mentor a team of two UI/UX designers, aligning work with product goals and design excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the direction of our products while contributing hands-on to their success.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the UX strategy to deliver intuitive and user-friendly cybersecurity solutions.
• Lead user research and create personas, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Own the end-to-end design process for specific product domains, from ideation to implementation.
• Mentor and manage UI/UX designers, ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and innovate product design.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and industry best practices to inform and inspire both your work and your team.

Requirments

• 5+ years as a UX designer or researcher, ideally in SaaS.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma
• Experience mentoring or managing design teams with a focus on fostering growth and collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in usability principles and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• High proficiency in English.
