One of our clients is looking to hire a Kubernetes Support Engineer.
This innovative company provides a cutting-edge machine learning platform designed to enhance productivity and efficiency for data scientists. Their product features a unique HPC scheduler, advanced GPU virtualization technology, and seamless integration with Kubernetes, making GPUs first-class citizens within the Kubernetes ecosystem.
As a Kubernetes Support Engineer, you will play a key role in providing exceptional technical support to customers worldwide. This includes troubleshooting complex issues, managing technical projects, and collaborating with internal engineering and product teams. You will also contribute to knowledge base development, documentation, and customer experience improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve complex technical issues via support portal, chat, screen-share, and calls.
- Escalate cases to engineering and product teams when needed.
- Manage a queue of support tickets and technical projects independently.
- Develop internal and external knowledge bases and share best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges in Kubernetes environments and SaaS infrastructure.
- Write documentation, create examples, and publish how-to guides regularly.
- Innovate and adapt to improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Support Engineer in a B2B SaaS customer service/support environment.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and IT/system administration issues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends when required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar ticketing software.
- Proficiency in Linux, Bash, and container architecture.
- Fluent English, at a near-native or mother-tongue level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
- Experience managing team priorities is an advantage.
