Hardware Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardware Team leader. This role is critical as you will be leading all hardware design efforts, ensuring the development of cutting-edge products for the IoT field. As the leader of the hardware design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products and maintaining our position as a global leader in smart water management solutions.

Job description:

• Leading and managing a team of experienced hardware engineers, developing products for the IoT field
• Characterization and planning of future products in hardware development aspects Providing support for existing products.
• Ongoing management of the department's tasks, while defining project schedules and costs in terms of hardware.
• Control of the electronic design, accompanying the development team in all stages of the project from planning to mass production.
• Working with other interfaces in the organization such as engineering, operation, mechanical development, radio, software, and system engineering.
• Risk Management
• Concern for constant improvement in the aspect of technical knowledge, work methods, quality, and control of the team's products.
• Striving for achievements and innovation, and the ability to lead changes.

Main Responsibilities:  

• Develop new hardware-based products.
• Provide support for existing products.
• Mentor and manage a team.
• Manage tasks and projects. 

Requirements:

• A degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in practical design of electronic cards integrated with microprocessors and radio.
• Experience in leading hardware development teams - an advantage!
• Strong background in the fields of analog design, microcontrollers, sensors, and radio.
• Experience transferring from R&D to production.
• Practical experience with PCB's planning and layout SW.
• Experience in development according to quality and manufacturing standards for electronic products.
• Experience in the field of IoT and communication products.
