We're looking for an experienced writer and editor to join Goodnet | Gateway to Doing Good as Managing Editor, and help us spread positivity through compelling high-quality content. If you're a storyteller driven by creativity and KPIs, with a proven track record in content marketing, content curation, and editing - we'd love to talk.

Responsibilities

• Building and adapting content strategies.
• Managing a budget.
• Creating and maintaining a weekly content calendar.
• Assigning tasks to freelance writers.
• Copy-editing and fact-checking.
• Final editing, content review, and optimization before and after publication.
• Posting on social media pages.
• Hosting and developing engaging content for a podcast.
• Evaluating article performance to meet and improve KPIs.
• Maintaining high editorial standards.
• Encouraging engagement and interaction with our content across social channels.
• Reinforcing innovative writing methods and adapting content strategy.
• Identifying new opportunities and partnerships to create, optimize, and share content proactively.

Requirements

• Editorial experience. 
• English speaker, fluent in Hebrew.
• Experience in content writing, editing, and management.
• Proven record in content marketing, curation, and editing.
• Experience with CMS platforms, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Hands-on writing skills.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new technologies.
• Strong understanding of evolving content policies and platforms.
