System and Algorithms Engineer – Airborne Systems

We are looking for a System and Algorithms Engineer to join a cutting-edge radar development project for airborne systems at ELTA.

What will you do:

• Overseeing the system lifecycle from planning to operational deployment.
• Developing advanced radar systems for clients in Israel and abroad.
• Writing simulations and conducting performance evaluations.
• Designing algorithms and system processes.
• Defining requirements for software and hardware teams and supporting the development process.
• Conducting experiments, tests, and analyses.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Mathematics – mandatory.
• Master’s or Ph.D. – a significant advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in system engineering – mandatory.
• Background and experience in algorithm development – a significant advantage.
• Experience and knowledge in radar system development – advantage.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python.
• Strong system-level perspective, teamwork skills, and proactive approach.
