Optical Lab R&D Specialist (Part-Time)

In this flexible part-time position, you’ll have the unique opportunity to design and execute experiments, build advanced optical setups, and directly contribute to groundbreaking R&D. This role is perfect for MSc or PhD students who want to deepen their expertise and make an impact in the field of optics.

• Design, assemble, and optimize optical and electro-optical setups.
• Perform system integration, alignment, and troubleshooting of experimental setups.
• Conduct rigorous testing to validate optical system performance.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and the engineering team on experimental and development projects.
• Ensure the lab remains well-organized, efficient, and safe.

Experience: At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in optical lab environments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• MSc or PhD students in optics or related fields are highly encouraged to apply.

Skills:

• Strong proficiency with optical components and system design.
• Expertise in optical alignment and testing techniques.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex setups independently.
