Systems Test Engineer

About the Role: A Systems Test Engineer responsible for defining test requirements, defining tests and their implementation, developing and utilizing test systems, and managing development processes in terms of engineering quality, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the project team as an IPT member to define test requirements throughout the product lifecycle
• Demonstrate analytical skills and a multidisciplinary systems understanding, including RF, analog, digital, power, and mechanical systems
• Define test configuration and test system architecture for end-to-end RF systems
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of high-end RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, etc.)
• Matrix management
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair
• Coordinate with internal and external engineering partners, including subcontractors
• Provide ongoing support to internal and external customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of experience in a systems role (Systems Engineer, Module Lead)
• Experience leading/managing a multidisciplinary hardware/software team - a significant advantage
• Proven experience in hardware/system development from concept to customer delivery - a significant advantage
• Experience with RF systems - a significant advantage
• Experience in software development - an advantage
• Experience in test system design - an advantage
• Familiarity with communication protocols - an advantage
