Position: Group Reservations & Sales Coordinator 📝

In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of the group reservation process, focusing on tour operators, group bookings, buyouts, dive, and snorkel experiences. You’ll play an essential part in driving business, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the success of our attraction.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

🎯 Business Development

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen business relationships within assigned markets.
• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business to maximize revenue and volume.
• Achieve and exceed volume and revenue targets for assigned market channels.
  
  

📊 Reporting & Coordination

• Submit weekly and monthly bookings and revenue reports to management.
• Assist with on-site coordination of activities and ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain and update association listings, trade show dates, and fee deadlines.
  
  

📅 Event Planning & Client Management

• Drive incremental business to the site, focusing on the tour and travel market as well as group bookings.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to manage and assist with the budgeting process.
• Organize, plan, and help implement special events, promotions, and campaigns.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly marketing reports on the effectiveness of marketing and PR efforts.
  
  

📞 Client Relations & Sales

• Develop and implement a client education program, including familiarization tours, trade shows, and travel media.
• Coordinate sales calls and presentations, ensuring collateral material and selling strategies align with venue needs.
• Foster relationships with clients through regular follow-ups, ensuring marketing and sales objectives are met or exceeded.
  
  

🎤 Industry Engagement

• Participate in industry trade shows, meetings, seminars, and product launches to enhance market awareness.
• Stay informed about market and industry changes by researching trends and building strong client relationships.
• Assist with the execution of events by developing action plans, coordinating with the attraction’s operations team, and ensuring top-tier service.

Requirements

🎓 Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) is required.

• This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support site operations.
  
  

🌍 Work Environment

• Depending on the location, you may work both indoors and outdoors, experiencing varying temperatures and surface types.
