Buyer & Logistic Control

Job description:

·      Search, select and purchase of quality products and materials

·      Develop and maintain relationships with all suppliers (HW, SW, capital equipment, services). Perform annual supplier evaluations related with operational, commercial and quality records

·      Process requisitions, follow up on the entire lifecycle of each order (from trigger to acceptance), assess the quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers (MRB).  Negotiate prices with suppliers and vendors. Advise a periodic open order status report. Lead cost reduction activities

·      Advise monthly reports of inventory and maintain yearly inventory counting.

·      Manage incoming inspection procedure

·      In charge of Import & Export deliveries of raw materials and finish goods.

Job requirements:

·       Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

·       Proven experience as a buyer in high-tech/medical device company

·       Background in Electronics and/or Mechanics (Optional - Recommended). 

·       Ability to take decisions under pressure and work under tight timetable.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Priority ERP

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

·       Familiar with Freight and Couriers deliveries.

·       Warehouse control

Responsibilities & Authorities:

·       Full responsibility for purchase orders from the quotation stage to the receipt of the goods (including responsibility for the incoming inspection process).

·       Negotiate with suppliers in order to lower prices.

·       Inventory management and updating of system ERP transaction in accordance with inventory and storage procedure.

·       Handling of domestic shipments and international shipments.
