Digital Twin Expert - Metro

Company Description

Egis with its partner Gadish (altogether called METAV) have been appointed as Network Manager in 2022, to work closely with the client, National Transport Authority, in managing the planning, design and construction of 3 new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan region. The 3 new metro lines will total 150km and 109 underground metro stations to serve 24 municipalities. Key figures:

• Estimated 2 million passengers per day will benefit from the new metro network.
• €50bn estimated cost.
• Benefits to Tel Aviv Area : 30% increase in public transport use and €8bn in economic benefits to the local economy.
  
  

• Integrate the digital twin concept into the Tel Aviv Metro tenders by the following actions:
• Comprehensive integration within the architecture and policy of the client’s systems, including assessment of the current state, compatibility with the client and Line PMC requirements, world market and global state-of-the-art review.
• Defining success metrics (KPI), users, development and implementation plans, compatibility with ISO standards, architecture within the IT systems and all railway (rolling stock) systems, and detailed requirements for the full implementation of the system/ platform.
• Defining requirements and operational approach during the immediate D&B phase.
  
• Providing support and drafting a detailed specification for the full components of the system, should a tender process be required for procurement/development.
• Providing guidance and assistance in building the proof-of-concept process.
• Comprehensive oversight of the process.
  
  

• Senior Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the architecture / BIM / digital twin field.
• Experienced professional with several years in Digital Twin system implementation.
• Expertise and familiarity in metro system applications.
• Required a degree in architecture or civil engineering or a related field.
• Experience in integrating the digital twin concept into a metro or rail project. Alternatively other infrastructure projects such as roads and structures can be considered.
• Able to work in a collaborative manner, providing expert advice within a complex and multi-faceted project environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS office package, and able to provide presentations using PowerPoint and other tools.
