Financial Controller

Our client is focused on the Israeli real estate development sector, specializing in urban renewal and evacuation-development projects. The group is actively pursuing multiple projects comprising hundreds of residential units in prime central locations. The company is the Israeli real estate development arm of a dynamic London-based family office with substantial assets under management, active globally in real estate, funds, derivatives, listed/private equity, and debt markets across multiple sectors.

Position Overview: Responsibility for the financial department's efforts and results, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) regarding all financial and accounting activities, and overseeing financial department staff in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements
• Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Ensuring proper recording and filing of all financial transactions
• Managing cash flow and transaction tracking
• Processing payroll
• Working with external auditors and consultants
• Maintaining tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Assisting with due diligence on new projects
• Preparing budgets and forecasts with CEO
• Supporting CFO in presenting reports to senior executives and board members
• Suggesting improvements for accounting systems
  
  

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Qualified Israeli CPA
• Level 2 Bookkeeping qualification minimum (Level 3 preferred)
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Big 4 accounting firm training
• Minimum 2 years experience in a large company, preferably in financial or real estate sector
  
  

• Mother Tongue fluency in Hebrew and English - mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong decision-making and executive-level guidance capabilities

• Superior time management and prioritization skills
• Outstanding interpersonal abilities
• Deep understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
