Production Engineer

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role involves working closely with various departments to implement production processes, improve product quality, and optimize resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning and Control:
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize production efficiency.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that production processes meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve production issues.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control systems.
• Resource Management:
• Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to maintain optimal stock.
• Technical Support:
• Provide technical support to production teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery and equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
• Health and Safety:
• Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in the production area.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Prepare production reports for management review.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
