Bookkeeper

We are looking for a passionate bookkeeper to join our growing finance team at AI21 Labs.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Perform all bookkeeping activities end-to-end, with a hands-on approach.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets.
• Manage bank and credit cards reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Responsible for Account Payable – processing new vendors (local and foreign), recording invoices and preparing payments.
• Support Accounts Receivable, including invoicing in multi currencies, AR aging, and collections, for the company and its subsidiary.
• Support in VAT and ITA reporting.
• Prepare the trial balance and supporting documentation for the monthly closing process.
• Manage accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis
• Provide support during financial audits and tax filings.
• Manage intercompany entries and reconciliations.
• Review and process expense reimbursements and travel reports.
• Perform other finance ad-hoc tasks as required.
  
  

Requirements:

• Certified bookkeeper type 2
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a bookkeeper, with at least 4 year in high-tech companies
• Experience working with Priority, NetSuite, Mesh, and other financial software
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures.
• Software Implementation – an advantage
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with a proactive approach
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with tax preparation is a plus.
