Hunters is the first modern SOC platform and we are hunting for a top-notch Backend Engineer to help us tackle the toughest challenge in cybersecurity: turning endless amounts of data into crisp, easy and actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

You will be part of the Investigation team. Our team is developing an automated and cross-correlated triage investigation system. The platform automatically enriches alerts with information from various sources and continuously examines the risk level of each alert, so analysts can prioritize the most critical to the business. Each member of our team is responsible for every aspect of our product, from software design to coding, testing, code reviews and automatic deployment to production.

• Design, implement, and optimize backend systems to enrich and prioritize security alerts from large data sets, leveraging cutting-edge technology.
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
• Work side by side with top-notch security researchers to understand how to contextualize and enrich security alerts for SOC analysts.
• Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of a python microservice architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code while practicing software engineering best practices, and doing code review.
  
  

• Python development experience of 4 years minimum.
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Solid understanding of production environments in AWS, K8s.
• Experience with database architecture, designing and efficiently querying SQL databases.
• Highly motivated, teamplayer, with a can-do approach.
  
  

• Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Experience with Kafka or a pipeline pub-sub architecture.
• Experience with front-end development.
• Understanding of cyber security principles and practices.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams.
