Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and responding to complex cyber incidents, developing and maintaining monitoring systems, and analyzing suspicious events based on alerts from security systems and other sources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Identify and respond to complex cyber events, ensuring effective incident management.

- Develop and maintain technical monitoring systems for detecting sophisticated attacks.

- Conduct thorough investigations of incidents (IR) and analyze network communications and processes.

- Define, write, and manage detection rules and policies.

- Collaborate with various teams to enhance security incident response.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Relevant courses and certifications in cybersecurity.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in IR investigations and events within a large organization (Tier 2 roles or higher).

- Proven experience handling diverse information security and cyber incidents.

- Proficient in defining and writing detection rules.

- Deep familiarity with detection and monitoring tools, including SPLUNK (with experience in writing SPL rules).

- Experience in programming with Python is a significant advantage.
