Global Payroll Specialist

One of our clients Hi-tech company is looking to hire a Global Payroll Specialist.

The Payroll Specialist will manage payroll processes and related transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role requires strong technical skills, organizational ability, and expertise in payroll regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a global payroll environment, thrive in fast-paced settings, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and process global payroll for 220+ employees in compliance with financial schedules (120 in Israel and 100+ in other countries : UK, USA, Spain)
• Analyze payroll variances and report management insights.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including taxes, national insurance, and other obligations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
• Collaborate with HR and external pension agents on payroll and pension matters.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle concerning payroll and pension processes.
• Maintain attendance systems and new employee setup.
• Coordinate with global payroll agencies and manage day-to-day relationships.
• Review employee expense reimbursements.
• Monitor changes in local payroll regulations and policies, communicating updates across teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience as a payroll controller in a global company.
• Proven expertise in managing outsourced international payrolls.
• Proficiency in “Michpal” payroll software (advantage).
• Experience with Tas (Travel Administration System) travel systems (advantage).
• Certified payroll accountant qualification (advantage).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, internal controls, and best practices.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
