Mycology R&D Researcher

We are seeking a Mycology R&D Researcher to join our dynamic team and advance our ongoing success in fungal cultivation, extraction, and analysis.

As our main Biological R&D team member, you will lead biology-focused projects from concept to execution. This includes reviewing literature, collaborating with internal and external experts, designing and conducting experiments, and performing hands-on cultivation, extraction, and analysis. A key part of the role involves optimizing and improving current growing conditions, conducting in-vitro bioassays, and spearheading the development of new fungi-based initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: MSc or PhD in Mycology, Microbiology, Plant Science, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field. Current MSc or PhD students are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Previous professional experience in microbiology, particularly with fungi, is a strong advantage (industry or academia).
• Hands-on expertise with bioassays and in-vitro experimental techniques.
• Proficiency in experimental design and scientific documentation.
• Enthusiasm for research and creative solutions for scientific challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and proactively—ready to take on hands-on tasks and overcome obstacles.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
