Java Backend Team Lead

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and grow a team of backend developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to effectively achieve our goals.
• Set technical direction and best practices for the team, ensuring high-quality code, system architecture, and adherence to development standards.
• Take a hands-on approach, actively participating in the full development lifecycle, including design reviews, detailed design, and code reviews.
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and optimization of features in production, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data science team, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes

Qualifications

• Software Development, Java, and Microservices skills
• Team Leadership and Design Patterns expertise
• Experience in creating scalable and efficient backend systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus
