Senior Physicist / Scientist, PhD

Innovative startup developing cutting-edge diamond applications and growth processes seeks a Senior Researcher to join the R&D group. This role involves experimental and theoretical work and close collaboration with leading industrial foundries and academic research groups in Israel and abroad, focusing on fundamental research and the exploration of novel ideas for growing diamond crystals and developing deep-tech diamond applications.

Key Qualifications and Skills

• PhD in Physics, Physical Chemistry or Materials Science, with experience in experimental R&D
• Ability to lead and conduct independent research but also a team player
• Highly motivated, hard worker and out of the box thinker
• Experience in condensed matter physics, plasma physics, optics, microwave technology, crystal growth and semiconductor technology (advantageous)
• Good theoretical understanding of science
• Proficient in programming and simulations tools, such as COMSOL/Python/MATLAB (advantageous)
• Experience in clean room processes and vacuum technology tools such as CVD or PVD systems (advantageous)
