Tax Specialist

We are looking for a talented Tax Specialist to join our Finance team in Tel Aviv to expand our tax department.

Responsibilities:

As a Tax Specialist at Guesty you will:

• Assist in assessing, prioritizing, and communicating strategic tax planning opportunities and executing them
• Help manage external reporting requirements
• Manage and monitor intercompany agreements and transfer pricing arrangements globally
• Assist with with tax accounting concepts such as FIN48, ASC 740 and FAS 5
• Lead and coordinate indirect tax compliance obligations includes sales and use tax, VAT, GST, levies, property tax, franchise, and other similar taxes
• Assist with planning and implementing internal controls processes related to tax
• Adhering to tax regulations and investigating new tax laws and developments and their respective impacts on the Company
• Ad-Hoc projects as well as automation projects and processes improvement
• Participate in due diligence processes related to M&A projects from a taxation aspect

Requirements:

To be a Tax Specialist at Guesty you need:

• To be a CPA and/or lawyer in a tax department of Big 4, law firm, or large multinational with 3+ years of experience
• Experience working at or with high-tech public companies that reports by US GAAP and have multiple entities including Israel
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong project management, hands on, detail oriented, while being able to see the big picture
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Willing to learn, experience, and assist with a variety of tax matters
