Backend Engineer

Fundbox is looking for a Software Engineer to build new features and directly impact the future of our product. You’ll be part of a highly empowered collaborative team that is passionate about the successful development of Fundbox’s collaboration portfolio.

About The Role

Work with a team of experienced and highly talented developers in an environment with cutting-edge technologies.

Work closely with the Business, taking full responsibility and ownership from conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Our Stack - Python, AWS, Redis, MySQL, RabbitMQ

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience professionally developing production software.

Understanding of products and a passion for building software that provides a great experience.

Team player with strong communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.

Knowledge and interest in Microservices architecture.

Flexible and adaptable to context changes.

Open-minded and eager to learn.

Experience with Python - An advantage

Experience with AWS - An advantage

Experience with working with offshore units (Product/ Business etc) - An advantage
