Developer Relations Manager (Portfolio Role)

Ariga, a fast-growing, Series A company in our portfolio is seeking a Developer Relations Manager, to work closely with their community of users to ensure they achieve success with Atlas, a developer-centric database schema product. You'll actively engage in the community, support user adoption, and identify growth opportunities. They're seeking someone with a proactive mindset, a hunger to learn, and strong communication skills to become a key part of our customer success efforts.

Responsibilities

Community Engagement:

• Actively engage with a lively open-source community on platforms like Discord, GitHub, Reddit, and other forums to foster discussions and build relationships.
• Serve as a bridge between the community and the company, ensuring open lines of communication and responsiveness to feedback.
• Help organize and contribute to community events, webinars, and other initiatives to drive engagement and collaboration.

Account Growth and Relationship Building:

• Build strong relationships with users, understand their needs, and identify ways Atlas can support their goals.
• Partner with senior team members to identify opportunities for account expansion and develop targeted growth strategies.

Feedback and Product Improvement:

• Collect and analyze community feedback to inform product development and improve the user experience.
• Provide insights to the product and engineering teams to ensure community needs are represented in product updates.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in customer success, community management, or a similar role in a tech-oriented company (internship or part-time experience counts!).
• Eagerness to learn about DevOps, developer tools, and database schema management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with platforms like GitHub, Discord, or Slack is a plus.
