About the Role:

As the Head of R&D, you will define and execute the company's research strategy, drive innovation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop scalable, commercially viable technologies. You will also engage with external stakeholders, including academic partners, investors, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and guide a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Manage the R&D budget, project plans, and resource allocation.
• Lead R&D efforts in electrochemical technology from lab scale to commercial scale.
• Oversee experiments, testing, and the discovery of new materials and processes.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate R&D outcomes into scalable products.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (MSc with equivalent experience considered).
• 10+ years in electrochemical research or energy storage development, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in scaling laboratory prototypes and leading successful R&D teams.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
