Fullstack Developer

Laguna Health is looking for a Fullstack Developer to help build and scale our innovative digital health platform. You’ll design cloud-native applications, taking ownership of features from inception to deployment, and ensuring they handle large data sets with precision. Your work will enhance care teams' efficiency by supporting AI-driven communications with patients at home.

In this role, you will design and implement key features and architecture, taking full ownership from development to production. If you're passionate about building meaningful solutions in digital health, we’d love to have you onboard!

Our tech stack: React, React Native, Node.js, Typescript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, K8s, Lambda, EKS, SQS, IAM, VPC.

Apply if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Fullstack development.
• Proficiency in front-end development using React, with React Native being a strong advantage.
• Experience and back-end development, proficiency in Node.js and Typescript.
• Experience with GraphQL and Amazon Cognito.
• Strong experience with AWS services, including Lambda, EKS, SQS, IAM, and VPC.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Experience with best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• The ability to thrive in a startup environment, taking initiative and solving challenges independently when needed.

Bonus points for:

Nice to Have (Advantages):

• Experience with building Google Chrome extensions.
• Experience working with telephony, audio, or video streaming.
• Experience with testing methodologies – unit testing, TDD, mocking, etc.
• Previous experience with healthcare technology or any domain-specific experience in digital health systems is a plus.
