Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Computational Biologist / Bioinformatician to join our team. This role will involve the analysis of mass spectrometry/proteomics data and the development of computational/diagnostic models to distinguish between healthy states and medical conditions. You will work closely with a passionate team to drive key insights that could transform diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Define and execute the long-term vision for computational biology and data science, aligning it with the company's overall strategic objectives.

●     Implement tools for cross-dataset and multi-omics data harmonization, integration, and visualization

●     Analyze and interpret mass spectrometry data from various experiments and technologies.

●     Develop and optimize computational models to distinguish between healthy and medical conditions.

●     Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists and engineers, to integrate and validate findings.

Qualifications

●     PhD or master’s degree in computational biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

●     5+ years of experience in the biotech/healthcare industry, with a strong track record.

●     Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for computational modeling.

●     Experience with machine learning and statistical techniques applied to biological data.

●     Experience with mass spectrometry data analysis - advantage.

●     Conduct end-to-end computational analyses multi-proteomics data- advantage.

●     Experience in cloud environment (AWS) - advantage.
