Mobile QA Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mobile QA Engineer to join our dynamic QA department at MyHeritage. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the quality of our iOS and Android apps, enjoyed by millions of users worldwide. Working closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality mobile features and ensuring an exceptional user experience. What You'll Do:

• Ensure the quality of MyHeritage's mobile apps, delivering high performance, stability, and exceptional user experience.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scenarios for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Perform manual and automated testing, covering functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and provide actionable feedback.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring resolution in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of mobile test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient testing cycles.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to the team and stakeholders.
  
  

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in manual and automation testing of mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Hands-on experience with mobile test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies and tools, including device simulators and emulators.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their role in mobile testing — an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of the iOS and Android ecosystems, including app performance and user experience testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English and Hebrew).
