Head of Quality Assurance

Position Overview:

The VP of Quality Assurance (QA) will lead the quality efforts within the antenna division, reporting directly to the General Manager of the Antenna Division. This pivotal role ensures all products and processes meet the highest quality standards, with a focus on military-grade solutions and compliance with AS9100 and other relevant standards. The role involves close collaboration with international suppliers and Tier 1 customers.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality procedures, plans, and documentation for operations across sites in Israel and India.

·      Ensure adherence to quality standards during all stages of manufacturing, including inspections and process oversight, at both local and international production sites.

·      Manage quality assurance processes for projects and products from development through production and delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance.

·      Conduct supplier and subcontractor audits, ensuring international suppliers meet the company's stringent quality standards.

·      Prepare and manage sites in Israel and India for customer audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance checks.

·      Oversee and respond effectively to quality deviations, customer complaints, and corrective actions.

·      Collaborate closely with Tier 1 customers, international suppliers, and military clients, addressing quality-related inquiries, conducting technical negotiations, and resolving complex quality and product specification challenges.

·      Ensure compliance with military standards, including AS9100, and lead efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations for military-grade products.

Requirements:

·      A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including assembly and testing (experience with mechanical enclosures, printed circuit boards, plastics, etc., is preferred).

·      Proven experience in managing a quality team, including training and team development.

·      Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance processes within the defense sector, including working with military customers and defense-related standards.

·      In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and other relevant military quality standards and processes.

·      High-level proficiency in English (spoken and written), enabling effective communication with global customers and suppliers.

·      Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience in handling technical discussions and resolving quality concerns with Tier 1 and military customers.

·      Availability to travel internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Familiarity with quality standards and regulations applicable to defense and civilian antenna systems.

·      Proven experience preparing manufacturing sites for compliance with international quality standards and audits.
