Senior Devops Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Devops Engineer with in-depth expertise in Kubernetes, containers, AWS, infrastructure as code, Windows and Linux systems, and proficiency in Bash and Python scripting. The ideal candidate will lead our DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical aspect and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment, operation and maintenance of systems.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient and secure infrastructure on AWS using best practices.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
• Standardize, develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform\Tofu.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of DevOps methodologies and practices.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• In depth design experience and architectural knowledge
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency designing Microservice and monolithic applications on AWS services.
• Proficiency infrastructure as code tools (Terraform\Tofu)
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux systems administration.
• Proficient in SRE\Monitoring methodologies (Monitoring stacks with emphasis on Prometheus).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in AWS, Kubernetes, or related technologies
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Elastic and various vendor solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud (AWS, in particular) and containerized environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing highly available and scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of networking and web technologies like Nginx and IIS.
