Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tech Lead to join our team. This hands-on technologist will spearhead the development of our platform, incorporating advanced generative AI capabilities into real-world pharmacy workflows. You will work closely with the founding team to design and execute Phanova’s technical roadmap, with a focus on delivering scalable and impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop the Phanova platform, integrating generative AI into features such as voice-based virtual agents, inventory prediction, and workflow optimization.
• Build and deploy machine learning pipelines leveraging modern frameworks like OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, or custom LLMs.
• Stay ahead of emerging generative AI advancements, ensuring Phanova leverages the latest capabilities in natural language processing (NLP) and generative tools.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the stack.
• Collaborate with the founding team to translate product vision into technical solutions.
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security, especially for handling sensitive healthcare data.
• Develop foundational technical standards for the engineering team as the company scales.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize platform performance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on integrating AI/ML models into production.
• Strong proficiency with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Node.js, React).
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and tools.
• Proficiency in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and building scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an interest in applying generative AI to healthcare innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building systems using generative AI models.
• Familiarity with deploying AI systems for real-time interaction (e.g., voice AI, chatbots).
• Prior healthcare or pharmacy tech experience.
• Experience in startup environments.
