Senior Researcher

We are seeking for a Business Analyst and Researcher to lead innovation initiatives at AvaTrade, a leading fintech company in the online trading industry. This role involves developing tailored innovation strategies for the trading world, conducting in-depth market research, and managing cross-organizational technology projects. You will be required to present innovative solutions and technological proposals to company executives and key stakeholders (C-Level).

Responsibilities

• Developing Innovation Strategy: Plan and implement innovation strategies aligned with company goals, identifying technological trends and their impact on the trading industr
• Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research in trading and fintech to identify opportunities and enhance company capabilitie
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, and sales teams, coordinating with industry experts to drive and implement innovative solutions. Lead cross-organizational processes, including delivering compelling presentations to stakeholder
• Due Diligence: Perform financial and strategic assessments of innovation initiatives, develop financial pricing models, and manage return on investmen
• Risk Management: Identify and evaluate regulatory and financial risks, working closely with the Compliance and Regulatory Officer to ensure adherence to regulatory requirement
• Concise Summary for Senior Management: Present professional reports on the business potential of innovative solutions, including data analysis, opportunity identification, evaluation of pros and cons, and delivering a well-reasoned final recommendation that inspires confidence and trust among C-level executives and owner

Requirement

• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in technology innovation or business development. –Mandatory
• Experience in matrix management: Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams in a matrix structure –Mandatory.
• Technological Experience: 2 years of proven experience in AI-based projects (ML, NLP, LLM) – Mandatory.
• Fintech/VC Background: Deep understanding of the online trading industry – Mandatory.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to build financial models, analyze data, and derive business insights – Mandatory.
• Global Environment Experience: Experience working with international teams and adhering to regulatory standards – Mandatory.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a relevant field – Advantage. Studies in entrepreneurship, economics, accounting, or strategic consulting –Advantage.
