Security Researcher

A cybersecurity startup has developed a platform for mapping, managing, and securing non-human identities within organizations. Established two years ago, the company has completed a significant Series A funding round and has paying customers in the U.S., targeting the American market.

The company is based in Tel Aviv, operates on a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week, and has 45 employees globally, including 30 in Israel, with significant growth underway.

Role Overview

• 60% development work.
• Application security and cloud research, identifying common security vulnerabilities in SaaS applications.
• Research and analyze Cloud and SaaS products to identify opportunities for expanding the security offerings.
• Develop and implement solutions to customer problems, ensuring quick turnaround times and adherence to deadlines.
• Research customer environments for potential security value including vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
• E2E accountability regarding newfound security capabilities and use cases, including implementation

Requirements:

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar.
• Strong understanding of security principles, particularly in modern Cloud and SaaS products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, start-up environment.
• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security research
• Experience in developing solutions in Cloud environments
• Experience with security automation tools and techniques.
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
