Product Manager IoT

You are a highly experienced and motivated Senior Product Manager to lead our Connectivity Team. This team is responsible for data transmission and collection from sensors, network management, system improvements, integrations with customer IT infrastructures, and the development of embedded software for our gateways. You will have a proven track record in product management within the IoT space, exceptional technical expertise, strategic vision, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap: Develop and execute the product roadmap for our connectivity solutions, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for product enhancements and new features.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development, launch, and adoption.
• Requirements Definition: Define product requirements, specifications, and features, balancing customer needs with technical feasibility.
• Network Optimization: Lead efforts to enhance data transmission efficiency, network management, and system integration for optimal performance.
• System Improvements: Drive continuous improvements in our connectivity solutions, focusing on reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Customer Integration: Oversee the integration of our solutions into customer IT infrastructures, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.
• Business Cases: Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models to support product development, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate the product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to inform future development and enhancements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on IoT products in a B2B environment.
• Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and manage complex technical systems and products.
• Proven experience in data transmission, network management, and embedded software development.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful products on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with R&D teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
