Position Overview:

As an Investor, you will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating high potential investments in seed and early-stage startups. This role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. We’re looking for a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is curious, proactive, and brings a strategic perspective to early-stage investing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source investment opportunities by building a network within the startup ecosystem (founders, accelerators, incubators, etc.)
• Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical experts as needed
• Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling for potential investments
• Assess startup viability by evaluating business models, traction, market size, technology, and founder potential
• Build and maintain strong relationships with co-investors, partners, and other venture capital firms to enable collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Attend industry events, pitch days, and conferences to stay connected with emerging trends and potential investment leads
• Stay up-to-date on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform investment thesis and identify opportunities
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices across the team

Qualifications:

• Passion for technology, innovation, and a solid understanding of the startup ecosystem. Familiarity with key sectors of interest, such as GenAI, SaaS, Cyber Security, Fintech etc.
• 3+ years of experience development or product management roles in start ups, large tech companies or leading technology army units. Experience in management consulting or investment banking is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust with founders and ecosystem partners
• Strong network within the startup and tech/intelligence units is a plus
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE is a plus
