Senior Full Stack Engineer (with Frontend Orientation)

A big data startup (after a big Seed) focused on mitigating big data performance bottlenecks, is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer with Frontend Orientation to join our core platform team.

You will bridge the gap between elegant, user-friendly interfaces and robust backend systems. You’ll create intuitive visualizations and interfaces for performance monitoring while collaborating on backend systems to ensure seamless data processing and API integration. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives at the intersection of frontend excellence and backend scalability.

What You'll Do

Frontend Focused:

Build intuitive, responsive dashboards to monitor application performance metrics.

Develop interactive visualizations to display complex performance data effectively.

Design real-time alert management interfaces and handle large datasets efficiently.

Backend Collaboration:

Design and integrate REST APIs for real-time performance monitoring and alerting.

Collaborate on systems for processing and analyzing performance metrics.

Contribute to backend scalability and optimization to support data-heavy applications.

Work closely with backend and big data teams to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration.

Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to shaping development best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on frontend development.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript and responsive design principles.
• Experience building data-heavy applications with complex visualizations.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, data fetching patterns, and backend/frontend integration.
• Familiarity with backend technologies like Python, FastAPI, and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS).
